Earlier today, we got our first look at what is tentatively being called the HTC One M9 Plus. Essentially a normal M9 with a Quad HD screen, there wasn’t much the previous photos gave us in terms of information, apart from the fact the camera module looked different. Now we’ve got yet another photo of the M9 Plus, and it has something not seen on a HTC device for quite some time now: a physical home button.
I’m not quite sure what to make of it, but if it is a fake photo, that must be a hell of a fake device. If genuine however, it brings up the interesting question of where the other two buttons will go – we would instinctively say they would go on the screen, but our guess is as good as yours. This home button does make sense given the rumours about the M9 Plus suggest it will have a fingerprint scanner, which the home button has become the traditional resting place for, but we can only wait and see whether this device turns out to be real.
