Motorola Charm Shows Up on T-Mobile’s Online Store and Best Buy Mobile

The Motorola Charm looks like it might be taking to the streets soon. Best Buy Mobile has this device live on their site as “Coming Soon,” and with a price-tag of $249. That sounds like the average no-contract price, especially since we’ve already seen T-Mobile’s “Back to School” promotion labeling this device as free, after rebates of course. Battery issues have plagued this device which has led the August launch, but we might be rewarded with another color. The Motorola Charm could launch with two different color options, Cabernet or Golden Bronze. The device is said to be running the latest Motoblur which we can find on the Motorola Droid X and the upcoming Droid 2.

  • Features of the Motoblur enhancements include:
    • Updated Home Screen (7 panels)
    • Pre-loaded Motorola widgets are now resizable
    • Social Messaging enhancements through Facebook and Twitter
  • New Android 2.1 enhancements include:
    • Pinch-to-zoom for Web Browsing, plus improved photo gallery and Google Maps applications.
    • Voice assisted turn-by-turn directions.
    • Global search allows you to search everything on your phone.
    • Most enhancements will be available on the Motorola Cliq and the Motorola Cliq X
