Motorola is gearing up for Cyber Monday and is giving us all a moth watering deal to look forward to snagging. On December 1st would be purchasers of the Moto X 2nd Gen will be able to pick one up off contract from Motorola for $359. That is $140 off the usual price tag for the device.
Motorola could stop right there and the world would still be happy about it. However, there is more to the offers. If you pick up a Moto X 2nd Gen at Verizon on contract you can snag the 16GB model for 1 penny, or the 32GB model $50.01. Add wood or leather backs for just $25 more.
Along with the deal, you also get an additional 30% off any Motorola Accessory when you buy the Moto X. They do exclude Chromecast from the offer though. I wonder if Google will have a super special deal on those this year?
Lets keep things going though. At Walmart you will be able to grab the Moto E for StraightTalk for just $9.99 while supplies last. While you may have no use for a prepaid StraightTalk account, the $9.99 price tag for a Moto E is pretty slick. I might get one specifically to use as a Chromecast and Fire TV Stick remote as well as a media player for trips.
There isn’t always a catch with deals, but often times there are a few little hoops to jump through. While we don’t know if the Moto E at Walmart requires a mail-in rebate or anything, we do know that the $140 off the 2nd Gen Moto X will require you to sign-up for a coupon code. Nothing new for Moto X buyers out there as Motorola has done the same thing in the past for discounts. You will need to head to the Motorola Moto X Cyber Monday deals page to sign-up on December 1st between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. central time. Once you have your code in hand you have until December 15th to use it.

Update: Moto E through WalMart for Straight Talk was real, link here, and it didn’t require a rebate. However, it sold out quickly. I have not tried to get the deal through a local store though. Sometimes it happens.
