We know by the packaging leak yesterday, that an August release of the Motorola Droid 2 sounds logical and now we know that Android 2.2 might be shipping on the device, as well. Droid-Life has a source that snapped this image of the Droid 2 running Android 2.2. The device has the same Motoblur skin that we can find on the Motorola Droid X and will be rocking all of the same blur enhancements including widgets and the Blockbuster application.
This could mean that Motorola and Verizon could release Android 2.2 to the Droid X and original Droid. Maybe?
