With all the new devices rumored to launch this summer for a few of the major carriers, we’re left wondering what Verizon has planned. A recent screenshot received by the guys at Droid-Life helps to answer that question with a revamp on the Motorola Droid 2 now receiving MAP (minimum advertised price) on the network.
The Motorola Milestone 3 was launched in China back on Friday and as with the other Motorola “Droids” this is usually followed by an US announcement. This newly refreshed Droid 2 features Android 2.3 Gingerbread a four-inch qHD display, a dual-core processor, five row slide-out QWERTY keyboard, and dual-cameras; 8MP main camera with LED flash and 1080p video capture and a front camera for video chat.
As of now nothing has been said as far as an official release date for the Motorola Droid 3 however rumors suggest we could see information rolling out around July 7th. At any rate this is sure to be a welcomed addition to the already very successful Verizon “Droid” line. Any Motorola Droid 2 customers waiting for an upgrade?
Note: Additionally, a Motorola XOOM LTE is mentioned in the same screenshot. Although it’s not mentioned as to whether this is simply the original XOOM with LTE or a new rendition. Either way  it should come as good news to some. Who doesn’t want data speeds capable of embarrassing most people’s home internet.?
