Motorola Droid 3 update on the Way

Currently an update for the Motorola Droid 3 is floating about in one of their infamous soak tests. While it great to know an update is being tested, it is even better when we find out what it is, or in this case isn’t. Well, it isn’t Ice Cream Sandwich for starters. not that we or you should be surprised to find that one out. The update does address a number of bugs that have been plaguing Droid 3 owners though. Like stability fixes to help prevent power cycles and fixing the issue of the device turning on all by ts self when it is off. Some creepy issues really. The list goes on to cover an entire PDF sheet. NOw that the update info is live on Verizon’s site and the soak test is well underway, we should see an official roll out shortly to everyone.
