Last week select users of the
Motorola DROID RAZR HD and DROID RAZR MAXX HD received an update to their device. It was a typical soak test to make sure that when it was finally pushed out that there would be minimal chance for failure. The update isn’t anything insanely major though. It will move your RAZR HD or
MAXX HD to software version 9.16.6.XT926. It carriers with it some Google security patches improved Wi-Fi connectivity, some camera improvements and a few other little things as seen in the image above.
An update is an update though. Be on the look out for the notification letting you know it is available for your device. Alternatively, you can navigate Settings > About Phone> System Updates. You could get lucky and have it pop right up.
