Motorola Droid X2 – qHD and Tegra2 and Verizon, Oh My!

As we know devices go through rigorous testing and benchmarks before availability is announced. Of the benchmarks commonly used, the results displayed show simple specifics about other phones tested as a comparison to your device. Recent results on the NenaMark benchmark for hardware accelerated graphics shows that the Motorola Droid X2 was recently put through the paces, and unlike the benchmarks mentioned before this testing software was a bit more intrusive.

According to these results the Droid X2 will feature a qHD display (960×540) and will be powered by a NVIDIA Tegra 2 chipset. You may also notice that the graph states the carrier the device is being tested on, although you could have just guessed. As with the rest of the “Droid” phones the Droid X2 will most likely be going to Verizon. Like many of the new devices rolling out, this phone is running Froyo rather than Gingerbread. You may also notice the Droid X2 came in a tenth fastest device tested using this benchmark software.
