Motorola released an update timeline recently, and upon releasing it created quite a stir. Many Motorola Charm, and Flipout users have been waiting for their turn at running Froyo, however this is not meant to be released for the phone. It seems these phones are destined to run 2.1 for the rest of their existence, according to Motorola.
No mentions of a Gingerbread update for their current top phones, however one would assume they’d would try to keep up with the competitors, but without anything official it’s hard to say.
