Android hackers/developers have been hard at work cracking Motorola devices, specifically the Motorola Milestone and the Motorola Droid X. We learned a few days ago that the Motorola Droid X has been rooted, but that second phase would consist of touching the bootloader which seems very sketch. Using a second boot, Android devs has figured out a way to successfully port Android 2.2 to the Motorola Milestone. Other than the malfunctioning camera, the port seems to work flawlessly. This coming just days after Motorola said they were still “un-decided” on whether or not to bring Froyo to the Milestone.
