Looks like someone at Google is not happy with a certain OEM that they have inherited. Google CFO, Patrick Pichette, stated that Motorola phones lack the “WOW’ factor. Something us here in the community could have told him awhile back. Here is what he exactly said:
Motorola has a great set of products, but they’re not really like ‘wow’ by Google standards. Dennis Woodside and his team have inherited 18 months of pipeline that we have to drain right now.
Now this begs the question; what does this mean for the Moto X phone? I have talked to fellow android enthusiasts, and we kind of all agreed that we might not see the Moto X phone at Google I/O. We all would love to see it as soon as possible, but something tells us that Google and Motorola need to take their time with this phone. This is even more apparent now that Pichette has come out and said this. Let us know what you guys think.
