For quite sometime the Motorola Device Update page was just a long list of devices that were expected to see an update, someday. Some had a date listed next to them, others had certain quarters Needless to say, it was a nightmare to search for your device with so many versions around the world. Motorola has recently revamped the to make it more user-friendly and easier to narrow down your device.
You start off with your country, then pull where you picked up your device (the sales channel you bought it through ie. Verizon). Then you are presented with a nice looking set of device images, their names and their model numbers. After you pick your device you can find out if it will be updated to the next OS or what the current OS is supposed to be. They don’t offer any dates or time lines for some of the updates though. However, you can opt in for an email when an update is ready to be pushed out for your device. Better than nothing.
