We learned before that Motorola was working on a tablet device and now it’s safe to say that Verizon must be making the necessary arrangements to prepare for it. Thanks to an anonymous tipster who most sent this in to Phandroid, we know a little bit more of the story. As you can see above, the MOTO MZ600 is coming along with some demo units and a dummy device.
We’ve heard various rumors regarding the availability of this device, the earliest being October and the latest being early 2011. While we’ve heard little about this Motorola/Google/Verizon collaboration, rumors floating around suggest that NVIDIA Tegra 2 will be under the hood running Android 3.0. We assume that this device will be marketed among the “Droid” family, but it’s too early to tell. Maybe Verizon plans on launching a new line that won’t confuse everyone into thinking that every Android device is a “Droid.”
With the success Motorola has had with their smartphones, are you anxious to see what will come of Android tablet?
