I am sure many of you are aware that Mobile World Congress, MWC, is less than two weeks away in Barcelona Spain. The annual event is geared specifically towards the mobile aspect of technology and we know HTC and Samsung will definitely be making their next flagship devices known. It will be a very exciting week to say the least. Motorola will be there I am sure, but they apparently have some early plans of their own as notices have started making their way to select members of the press. It reads:
“Motorola is making an exciting announcement next week and wants you to be in the front row. The best part? You get to choose where and when you’d like to experience it. Everything you need fits inside one box, which we will deliver to your doorstep on Wednesday.â€
It is a rather cryptic message, as they usually always are. Sometimes these mystery press boxes come packed with some branded goods, thumb drives and something to signify what is launching. Other times it comes with a product for review/showcasing for the announcement. The last half of the message seems to lead one to believe that you will need to travel somewhere to get a look at what ever it is when you get a chance. So I am thinking there won’t be a physical product in the boxes. Personally, I hope they are announcing a second gen Moto 360. There were rumors back in November of a successor in the pipeline for launch this year. There have also been a few rumors on a refreshed Moto E and Moto G too.
Any guesses as to what Motorola is up to?
