Well, this will probably throw a spanner in the works for anyone who still thinks the Moto X phone is being abandoned. And just when you thought there couldn’t be any more Moto X news before Google I/O… It appears that engadget has dug up a picture from a FCC filing of a Motorola XT1058 that strongly resembles a certain leaked picture provided courtesy of evleaks. That leaked picture was suspected to be a Motorola offering referred to as the AT&T Ghost or XPHON.
And if that isn’t enough evidence for you, we reported on a leaked X-Phone benchmark found by RBMen, which detailed what was suspected was a line up of four Motorola phones: XT1053, XT1055, XT1080 and the XT1058, or AT&T Ghost. That last phone should sound familiar…
This is probably the most conclusive evidence we have yet of an actual Motorola phone and further cements the rumour that there will more than just one Moto X phone. With Google I/O looming, we can only speculate if this or other Motorola phones will make an appearance or if it will be held off till Android 5.0 goes gold.
