N1’s Equipment Recovery Fee Dropped to $150

Google has decided to chop off $200 off of their “ERF”. which is bundled in with T-Mobile’s ETF fee of $200 if your contract is canceled within 120 days. Normally you’d be paying $200 for the ETF, and $350 for Google’s ERF pushing you to pay $550 which is ridiculous. With the drop in price for the ERF to $150 you’re now paying $350, which isn’t bad but still not that great. The $150 price is the same price as Verizon’s ETF on their “Advanced phones”.

Unfortunately the ERF hasn’t been dropped all together but maybe in the future ERFs won’t exist (so we hope.)
