Ah, the never-ending Galaxy Nexus debacle. It’s been an interesting few months full of rumors about the device and what seems like countless “delays” from Verizon. Of course, we can’t officially pin anything on Big Red, as they’ve never actually announced a release date, so there technically hasn’t been any delay.
Online retailer Negri Electronics has had the unlocked GSM version of the G-Nex on sale for $730.50 for a few weeks, and now it looks as though they’re seeking to capitalize on Verizon’s actions that have angered so many anxious folks. Not only are they looking to make a few bucks from Verizon’s lack of an official launch date, but they’re poking fun at them in the process.
For a limited time, if you head over to Negri’s website and use the code ‘vzsucks‘, you can take an extra $45 off from the above mentioned price and snag up a Galaxy Nexus for $685.50 — not an extremely bad price, considering the quality of the device and that it’s still not officially available from any carrier in the United States.
