All the way from Tokoyo, we have found out the Docomo and Disney will be releasing a couple of Android devices. The first device is called Docomo F-08D, which will be packing a 4.3-inch 720 x 1280 display, a 1.2 GHz dual-core OMAP4430 processor, and a microSD card slot. Colors for the F-08D will be shiny white and shiny pink. I will choose pink any day.
Second we have the Docomo P-05D which will feature a 4.3-inch display as well, but with a lower resolution of 540 x 690. Even though the resolution is less than the F-08D, this display is qHD. This device will be rocking a 1 GHz dual-core OMAP4430 processor, and we will be able to get this device in black or white.
Now it looks like the UI for these phones are going to be strictly aimed at Disney fans. The icons and apps that come with these devices I am sure will mimic some classic Disney characters we all love. F-08D is looking at a February release and the P-05D will be set for March. At the moment these devices will only be available in Japan, but we are sure there will be a U.S. release soon.
