New ECOXBT floating waterproof Bluetooth speaker announced by Grace Digital Audio

There are products out there that just WOW  the user. Either for what they can do, how they look or how well they work. Sometimes you get a complete package of awesomeness and other times you get only half of what you want. Enter in a company that we have worked with in the past, Grace Digital Audio.

These guys have been around for a while. While most of their efforts are focused on iPhone compatible accessories, there are a few great products that they offer that us little Android users can get a hold of and love. The last product I took for a spin was the Eco Extreme. It was a portable speaker that was water tight and floated. It was and still is a product I show to all my hiking, camping and rafting friends.

Since last year they have put out a few various new products, mostly amazingly cool boom boxes for iPhones with docks behind plastic and things like that. Equally awesome, just not something we could really use with Android all that well. Until now. The design of the ECOXBT looks pretty rugged and like it will stand up to a construction worker, rafter, swimmer or pool side. It comes in three colors; orange, black and red. It looks cool, but whats the big deal. the main selling attribute that these new speakers have is that they are IPX7 approved and are completely waterproof, not just water-resistant. Toss it in the pool and it will be just fine. Take it on the boat and it falls in, it will be just fine. It has been tested to go 3 feet under water for 30 minutes and come up with no leaks and still functioning. Not sure why you would take a speaker 3 feet under water for 30 minutes, but it is nice to know you can. It is also designed and weighted to always float with the speakers facing up. That is just the small attention to detail that makes Grace Digital pretty great in our book. Here is a small list of features provided by them.

You aren’t going to be having a rave in the woods with one of these, but you are definitely going have some great sound while out floating without irritating to many people.
