[New Game] 10 Pin Shuffle finally makes its way to Android

Ah, it’s that time in the afternoon where I give up reading about Apple and Samsung news, law suites and the run of the mill Android insanity that floods the web. Hopefully this one gets out there from us before every one else gets a chance to get it out there.

Those of you that own an iOS device are probably pretty familiar with 10 Pin Shuffle. It is a simple pick up and play game from Digital Smoke LLC. It’s very popular on our wonderful Apple counterparts. This free game has three different game modes, all of which are sure to get you hooked for hours.

The first game mode is ShuffleBoard. No it’s not just for cruise ships and the elderly. In all actuality many of you may play shuffle board on a table top in plenty of bars across the globe. It is a game of skill, finesse and strategy. It doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to push a round object with a stick. You can play ShuffleBoard against the computer or against a friend. Each taking turns to out play the other.

The next game mode you will find is Bowling. Same principal as real bowling except you are using the shuffle board pucks instead of balls. This also means you have no curve to like you would with a real ball either. Another great game to keep you entertained for a little while.

The third and final game is 10 pin poker. This one seems like the more interesting and exciting game mode. It combines all the games above and adds in five-card draw poker to the mix. Any seasoned bowler knows how this game plays out. You get a new card for strikes and spares. Once you have five cards, you get to keep drawing and either keep it and toss out one that you already have or toss the one you just drew. The best five-card hand at the end of 10 frames wins the game.

Features:

* Impressive 3D graphics.
* OpenFeint online leaderboards and achievements.
* Real 3D physics engine and accurate pin physics.
* Instant replays of great shots.
* Unlock new opponents of increasing skill levels.
* Crowd reactions that reflect your moves in real-time.
* Realistic sound effects capture every nudge, bump, and collision on the table.
* Controls that are easy to grasp, but challenging to master.
* Turkey rewards and winners animations.
* Bowling statistics and game scores are tracked and saved each game.

10 Pin Shuffle is a free game, with restrictions and in app purchases of course. When you download the game you get to play 10 Pin Poker only. If you want the Shuffle Board and the Bowling game modes, you need to drop a cool $2.99. Still not a bad price tag for what you are getting.

The game plays extremely smooth and fast on the Galaxy S III. The controls are super simple to use but hard to master. You move your puck left and right and adjust the angle. You can still ruin everything based on how hard you fling your finger and how straight you fling your finger too. I have a feeling I will be playing this a lot tonight. Check out the game play trailer.
