New Ice Cream Sandwich leak lands for the international Galaxy S II

Times are tough and waiting for an update is even tougher. We all want our devices to have the latest and greatest software available as soon as it is announced. We also know that will never happen. The buck gets passed to the manufacturers and the carriers. While we know Motorola is a little wobbly when it comes to following through with anything, many of us have switched to Samsung and HTC. Now, HTC has a pretty descent track record, while Samsung is a bit iffy. Thankfully, leaks generally find their way to users long before an official update ever lands.  Thanks to some awesome tipsters, we now have a new Ice Cream Sandwich build leak.

The international Galaxy S II (I9100) has a new leak that moves it to build I9100XXLPH, while the previous leak was I9100XXLPB. Reports from PocketNow are claiming the newest leak is much snappier and other users are already reporting much better battery life as well. This means a final release should be just around the corner. It is pretty exciting news if you ask me.

With the newest leak out and about, the devs can jump in and take a look at what changes Sammy made and move forward. To pick up the file and check it out for yourself, head over to Sammobile.
