“Google will unveil the LG Nexus on October 29 and the phone will be available in the Indian markets by the end of November.”
He also confirmed some of the rumor spec’s as being true as well, but only confirmed three aspects. It will be a 4.7-inch screen, it will have the 1.5 GHz quad-core processor and it will sport Android 4.2.
He didn’t make mention of any other spec’s but rumors and shatter still suggest 2GB of RAM, 1280 x 768 IPS Display, 8MP camera, a non-removable battery and 8 or 16GB internal storage options. Oh, and no SD card slot.
A lot of it is hit and miss with many of us. The inner workings sound impressive and it is hard to go wrong with a pure Google Android experience on a product. Even if the manufacturers history with previous devices and software has been rocky. We know many of you have concerns about the LG Nexus 4, or what ever the final name will actually be. Personally it is hard to bite with a build in battery and no SD card slot. There is a lot riding on this launch for LG. If their Nexus hits the ground running and ends up as flop it will really put some strain on them. It also wouldn’t look that good for Google. We have the utmost confidence that Google knows exactly what they are doing and that they wouldn’t have chosen LG to make this device if they didn’t feel it was great.
We will all see just how she looks and runs in just one more week. It sure is taking forever to get here though.
