The Platinum 116: 11.6-inches, features a  1920×1080 resolution IPS screen. This model is not scheduled for release until April. we assume it is just as thin and will weigh in the neighborhood of just under 2 pounds. However, they have released the price point at $349.
The new line does look pretty stellar and comes in at great price tag. Not sure if it will lure Android fans from the Nexus 7 and Nexus 10, especially with the next gen devices coming soon, but Archos is on the right path to bring something great to the market without the premium price tag.
