Now that our devices are finally getting the hardware required to start seeing some amazing and graphically enhanced games, it should come as no surprise that there a few on the horizon already. The creators of Age of Defenders, which is already available on PC and Mac, will be releasing a version for Android and iOS soon.
The game brings in all our favorite elements of a tower defense game. The graphics look clear and crisp and sort of remind me of Star Craft in a way. The object is simple, build up your towers and defenses to protect your base destruction. I would image this game will need a high-end device to play fluently with all the action that appears to be on screen. The creators are also boasting the ability to play with friends in real time. I am not sure if that is going to be an option in the mobile version, but is available on the PC version. If they can make this a real -time strategy game that can be played via WiFi against friends, I’ll be very happy.
