New Twitter client app, Carbon, gets video sneak peek, downright Gorgeous!
Twitter clients are all over the place. You have the official Twitter client, Hootsuite, Plume, Seesmic, TweetCaster and many others. Options is a definite plus for Android users, but not all of what is out currently appeals to everyone. Sometimes you find one you like and stick with it even if certain aspects of it are not what you really want it to be. There will soon be a new Twitter client application landing on Android in due time. It is called Carbon. This client did get some screen shot leaks a few months back and if you saw those you may have wondered what happened. Well, it is still in the works. Carbon is a pretty popular Twitter client on webOS and more recently on WindowsPhone.
In the video below you get a sneak peek of how the project for Android is shaping up. The preview is demonstrated on a Galaxy Nexus and has a very beautiful look to it. With the familiar ICS Holo style and slick navigation and animations. Take a look, we think you will like it.
We use Twitter a lot around here, I don’t think that will ever change. Having one that is functional and is beautiful is a big plus. Carbon is shaping up to be one of the best looking clients I have seen in a long time. Hopefully it is near completion and we can all get our hands on it soon. You can keep up with the progress of the application and potentially the launch by adding them to your G+ circle.
