Nexus 11 Name Shows Up on Samsung Roadmap

A lot of the different web sites out there have reported that Samsung officially announced the Galaxy Tab 3. Their response…eh. Apparently the Tab 3 specs are pretty mid-ranged, but now we are coming to find out that Samsung plans to release three other tablets later this year.

First, we have yet another 8-inch tablet that will seemingly be rocking a AMOLED technology and offer full HD resolution. This 8-inch tab is also rumored to have a quad-core ARM A9 Exynos 4412 processor under its hood as well. Sounds tasty enough, but there seems to be an 11-inch tablet being baked in the Samsung oven that sounds a little better. This tablet will have a display with Super PLS TFT technology, and have a ARM Cortex A15 processor with an 8 MP camera.

If that did not get your Android juices flowing, there is evidence of a variant to this 11-inch Samsung tab. The name…the Nexus 11. Just rolls off the tongue, doesn’t it? The only real difference between the two 11-inch tablets, is the Nexus 11 will be rocking an octa-core Exynos 5 processor. Love to hear that the new Nexus will a souped up engine running that stock Android.

None of this information has been confirmed by Samsung quite yet. It all sounds pretty plausible though, and just hearing that another Samsung Nexus tablet is on the way, makes me want to start saving my money now. Let us know what you guys think. Which tablet would you get?
