The Nexus 5 will be upon us very soon, but in the meantime, we must drool over leaked images and leaked benchmarks. Today’s droolfest is brought to you by GFXBench’s website. Several devices went through some gaming tests, and as you can see from the graph above, the Nexus 5 did very well. It still could not outdo the iPhone 5s, but coming dead even with it is surely an accomplishment.
The Nexus 5 is likely to rock the Adreno 330 GPU under its hood, which is right on tap with iPhone’s GPU. The T-Rex 2.7 test that the devices took relies heavily on the graphical load mobile games put on devices. We all know that was a big selling point in the iPhone 5s, and the fact that the Nexus 5 can handle the same load is definitely pleasing to anyone who is heavy into mobile gaming.
