Good news for our friends in Hong Kong and India; as announced on the Nexus Google+ page today, Nexus devices are now available for purchase on the Google Play Store in those regions. The devices available include the 2013 Nexus 7 and the newly released Nexus 5.
Prices for the devices run as follows:
- Nexus 7 16GB for HK$2,398/Rs. 20,999
- Nexus 7 32GB for HK$2,798/Rs. 23,999
- Nexus 7 LTE 32GB for HK$3,598/Rs. 27,999
- Nexus 5 16GB for HK$3,198/Rs. 28,999
- Nexus 5 32GB for HK$3,588/Rs. 32,999
All devices are available for shipping today, though judging by the popularity of the Nexus 5 worldwide, delays may start appearing depending on which version you purchase. It’s also worth noting that the Nexus 10 hasn’t been added, but its been suggested that this could be due to Google preparing its rumoured successor which is allegedly being produced by ASUS.
