As usual, the news that the Nexus 6 stock was replenished in the Play Store swept the web. Just as fast as the information was pushed around, the stock depleted. The device by its self is a highly desired item, but pair it with a $50 Google Play credit with your purchase and people will start to break the F5 key in hopes that more arrive before the promotion ends. If the Play Store credit doesn’t tickle your fancy and you happen to be, or want to be, a T-Mobile customer, you can get yourself a Nexus 6 ordered through the carrier with an ever so slight discount attached.
As you can see in the image above, the 32GB model is coming in at $48 under the usual price tag. The same thing is ringing true for the 64GB model, but it is on back-order with an estimated shipping date of 5 days of purchase. Both are contract free as T-Mobile shoots for payment plans. The 32GB will cost you $25.08 a month for 24 months where as the 64GB model will be $27.16 per month for 24 months. Obviously you can also pay in full at checkout with the 32GB carrying the price tag of $601.92 and the 64GB at $651.84.
I have read a number of reviews from people who happen to already have a T-Mobile version of the Nexus 6 and it would seem they left the device as it is. Meaning they don’t have T-Mobile branding slapped on the outside or fill the software with carrier bloat apps. I have yet to see one in person though, so I can only go by what I have read from around the web.
Be sure to head through your my.t-mobile.com account to upgrade so you can take advantage of the discount, however small it might seem. If you are looking to jump to T-Mobile, then head over to T-Mobile.com and place an order as a new customer. I have my finger on the trigger, but I am not sure that the $50 savings is worth it to me more than it would be heading to the store and just grabbing one today. So many decisions.
