While the Nexus 9 has been out for just over a month now, there is still one piece of the puzzle missing, which has been the LTE model. Delayed presumably due to reasons related to manufacturing or software development, the Nexus 9 LTE has today finally gone up on the Google Play Store not long after T-Mobile announced availability of the tablet for $599 USD, the same as on the Play Store. This price is for the 32GB LTE version, and according to the product page, the Nexus 9 LTE will ship on December 19th. Unfortunately, this appears to only be available in select markets at this time – I know Australia definitely isn’t showing the LTE version as available yet.
Hot on the heels of this announcement, Google has also released the Android 5.0.1 factory image for the Nexus 9 LTE, which addresses bugs in the original Android 5.0 release. We’re not sure how the Nexus 9 is going in terms of sales since its launch, but presumably the availability of the LTE version should attract a few more people to the cause.
