Nexus S Might Find Its Way to AT&T

A new Bluetooth SIG product list shows a new model number, GT I9020A. The device is Bluetooth compatible and runs off GSM, which really meant nothing at first. If you take into consideration the T-Mobile’s Google Nexus S model number is GT-I9020T, one could suggest that the the ‘T’ at the end would stand for T-mobile and the newly discovered ‘A’ could mean AT&T.

The CEO of Mobilicity, Dave Dobbin, announced the device will be arriving soon for them, as well as for the major carriers in Canada. With that being said, those carriers support the same 3G bands and GSM services as AT&T. Everything would certainly be in place as far as hardware for them to support the device.

Since the iPhone is now going to Verizon, AT&T will need something else to bring in the customers. I am sure a lot of people are jumping ship for a Verizon iPhone.
