Looks like Samsung is finally listening to the community, and they are going to be stepping away from the environment unfriendly plastic. Samsung has joined the SGL Group “The Carbon Companyâ€, which is leading everyone to believe that future Samsung devices will be fitted with some lightweight carbon fiber. It is not quite metal like the HTC One, but I think samsung does not want to copy HTC’s ways, and they still want lightweight devices.

We selected SGL Group as partner due to the company’s unique expertise along the entire value chain from carbon fibers to CFRP components.
