We’re all expecting Google to unveil their new 7-inch Nexus tablet at their Google I/O conference this week, but some of us can’t wait any longer. Gizmodo AU seems to be one of them, as they have gotten their itchy hands on some photos of the Nexus Tablet, as well as official specs. Of course, as always, this is all a rumor until Google confirms it.
Here are some of the specs that are supposed to be included with the new Nexus Tablet:
- 1.3Ghz Quad-Core Tegra 3 Processor
- GeForce 12-core GPU
- 1GB of RAM
- 8GB ($199) or 16GB ($249) of internal storage
- IPS Display with a resolution of 1280 x 800
- 1.2MP FFC, NFC, Google Wallet
- Up to 9 hours of usage
Gizmodo AU also notes that this tablet will be the first to run Android Jelly Bean, a new version of Android that we are expecting to be announced at Google I/O this week. There’s no specific launch date set in stone, but the tablet is supposed to be available to consumers sometime in July.
As always, we’ll keep you updated, so make sure to check back for more news and updates.
