OnePlus 3 gets FCC certification, dual-SIM connectivity confirmed

As we all know, OnePlus will most probably be announcing its fourth smartphone, the OnePlus 3, this year. There have been a number of rumors about the device floating around already, and the company is expected to launch the OnePlus 3 in June 2016.

The device visited TENAA certification site recently, which confirmed its metal unibody design. The images are quite similar to what were leaked a few days back. The OnePlus 3 now has visited FCC certification site, but it did not reveal much details.

According to the leaked information, the OnePlus 3 will sport a 5.5-inch full HD (1920 x 1080) display just like its predecessor. The device will be backed by the Snapdragon 820 64-bit quad-core SoC. OnePlus will also be giving away free 30,000 OnePlus Loop VR headsets to its fans this year.

The company has partnered with Ant VR to make this headset, which is much more sturdy and durable than the cardboard ones sent last year. The OnePlus 3 might be announced on June 14, and it is rumored to be priced somewhere around CNY 1,999 ($307 ) for the 4GB RAM variant and CNY 2,499 ($384) for the 6GB RAM variant.
