Opera for Android is out of beta and the full version is now available for Android users. The full version brings a new UI, some customizable features and modes for organizing content.
In February, the Opera team stated they were making the move to WebKit, which powers a number of other browsers like Safari and Chrome.
The Discover feature will let users aggregate content and articles from the web based on their particular interests. Personalization will also be a focal point for Speed Dial’s added folders, new tabs functions and a customizable address bar.
Off-Road Mode will compress browsers for speedy browsing and less data consumption, allowing for web browsing even when your connection slows.
Other features include automatic text wrapping and a download manager for downloading media files.
Opera for Android is supported on Gingerbread, with tablet support on the horizon. You can check out the full version of Opera for Android on Google Play.
