The Oppo N3 release date is set for October 29th

Oppo N3 release dateWe knew it was coming, but Oppo has now confirmed that the Oppo N3 release date is set for October 29th at an event in Singapore. Oppo had previously teased this event last month as well as teasers that suggest the device, or at least one variant of it, will be constructed from “aerospace grade metal”, more specifically, an aluminium-lithium alloy.

We honestly have no idea what the device could look like as there have been quite a few renders of the device, some more unbelievable than others, yet none that seem to agree with each other on the Oppo N3’s design. We’re currently betting, seeing as the N3 is the successor of the original N1, that Oppo will continue the trend started by its landmark device with features like a swivel camera and a massive 5.9-inch display, and presumably some software deal with Cyanogen Inc. Obviously we’ll have to wait till October 29th to see if any of these hunches are true, but it would be unusual if the Oppo N3 doesn’t turn out to be Oppo’s flagship to round out 2014.

Are you looking forward to the Oppo N3? What do you like about its predecessor, the Oppo N1? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
