Interesting news of of Amsterdam this afternoon. PayPal was meeting with Apple and Google, and has come to an agreement to offer PayPal as an alternative billing method when purchasing apps from both companies. Â Currently, Android Market apps can only be billed via Google Checkout, and carrier billing with T-Mobile or Sprint.
No further details about the service at this time, though PayPal is aiming for a Q2 Â launch in the US, Canada, UK, France, Italy, The Netherlands and Australia.
If you use PayPal and don’t have the app yet, just scan the QR code.
