HTC Sense UI has always been a very visually appealing UI that many love. The dockbar on the other hand has always left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Seriously, why have a “personalize” button hard coded to the dock when you can long press the screen or hit menu > personalize?
The Desire Z is one of many devices that has the great pleasure of running the Sense UI and utilizing some great ROMs as well. This latest MOD comes from the1wingedangel over at xda-developers. He has taken the rosie.apk from the Virtuous ROMs and changed out the “personalize” button with more useful applications. There are currently 11 different choices available for you to push through ADB. These have all been tested on Virtuous 0.7.x versions and Virtuous 0.8.x versions. All reportedly are working well. They may of course work on other Sense ROMs but have not been tested.
