Possible November 11th Launch for HTC Merge/Lexikon?

This device is starting to hit high on the leaked information chart as we’ve seen plenty of images of this full-QWERTY slider that will also be capable of world roaming. The HTC Merge/Lexikon is one of the sleekest slider devices we’ve seen to date as far as design, but it poses a striking resemblance to the other sliders coming out of the labs of HTC, the T-Mobile G2 and the Desire Z which features a different keyboard layout.

How would you guys feel about a rumored launch date for this Bing’d out device? According to Droid-Life, who received a nice little weekend tip, the HTC Merge/Lexikon will be hitting shelves in just over a month on November 11th.

Pricing and name confirmation have not been leaked yet, but we would suspect this device might go for the going smartphone rate of $199 after rebate or possibly $249 due to its dual GSM/CDMA capabilities.

Known specs of the HTC Merge/Lexikon include:

  • Android 2.2
  • HTC Sense UI
  • 5-megapixel camera
    • LED flash
    • 720p HD recording
  • Slide out full-QWERTY keyboard

Until we get some confirmation, we’ll go ahead and mark this as rumor for now. If you want to get your HTC Merge/Lexikon features today, be sure and check out some leaked images, the leaked user guide or some benchmark results to hold you over until this device drops hopefully next month.

Anyone looking for an HTC full-QWERTY slider on Big Red?
