This mysterious tablet debuted at CES 2011 back in January touting a 10.1-inch display and pre-loaded with Google’s latest version of the Android OS, 3.0 Honeycomb. Having officially gotten a name a couple of months back, the Toshiba Thrive has managed to slip under the radar and slide into stores with out much attention. However given the price tags we’re seeing on these recent new comers, the Thrive could offer another means of delivery for that Honeycomb tablet experience everyone is looking for.
While it’s the cheapest on the market the Toshiba Thrive offers user their choice of internal storage from 16Gb for $479.99 or 32Gb for $579.99. Additionally we may eventually see the 8Gb option offered for $429.99 however nothing has been mentioned as to when this will be. Starting today you’ll be able to pre-order this tablet for the aforementioned prices from Office Depot stores both physical and online. At this time an official laucnh date hasn’t been mentioned however rumors are pointing toward a late July release. More information as well as a video showing off some of the key features offered by the Toshiba Thrive can be found in the source links below.
