Who wants to wait a whole two hours or so for your battery to charge? No one does. Especially if you are on the go. Yeah, portable battery packs are nice, but if you are on your phone while its charging on a battery pack, it charges even slower. I will admit that phones today charge a lot faster than they did years ago, but still, we want FASTER. In comes Qualcomm.
Qualcomm has hinted today that they will have news about new fast charging technology that will be introduced in their new Snapdragon 600 processor. “Come back next week for exciting news on the newest advancement in fast charging technology.†That was posted on the company’s blog earlier, so it sounds like phones with these new chips are going to cut charging time down even more than they already are. That is pretty exciting news. We all want faster processors and fast charging times for our devices. Qualcomm knows this, so I guess we will find out this news officially next week when they make the announcement. Let us know what you guys think.
