If you are unfamiliar with Shift then you aren’t one of the 10 million people that have played it on your desktop PC. Yes I said 10 MILLION. Not to mention it was released to other touch screen devices and has received over 1 million downloads. The game has been pretty popular and extremely addictive to a lot of users.
The game was originally designed by Armor Games and with the help of Handmark, was brought to Android. Handmark is the company that brought us the Tweetcaster application that many of us love and use for our Twitter
Shift is a simple yet challenging puzzle game, where you take on the role of subject 32763, and are trying to escape the facility you have been held in. The controls are simple with arrow keys on either side of the screen to help you navigate your player through the many obstacles you will face. The game play though will definitely mess with you. At certain points your whole world gets flipped. Everything rotates, gravity is backwards, colors are reversed and find the path to complete the level at hand becomes that much more difficult. It becomes rather difficult and addictive very fast.

There is a lite version that will allow you to navigate your character through 15 levels. Just enough to wet your pallet and make you crave more. The paid version is only $1.99 and gives you more than 50 levels to navigate plus the potential for updates and more mind boggling puzzle action. Both versions of the game require Android 2.1 or higher to run.
