QWOP is somewhat of a cult classic in the flash-gaming world, namely with a reputation of being one of the silliest, difficult games known to man. To give a brief overview to those of you who don’t know what QWOP is, the objective of the game is to complete the 100m dash while controlling the sprinter. The only catch is that you control your sprinter only through the keys Q, W for one leg, and O, P for the other. A key will either designate the thigh or the calf of a leg, so you’re left mashing your keys in order to try to get your sprinter to lurch forward. Well, someone’s obviously decided that a mobile version of the game was a good idea because it hit Android today.
QWOP is available for $0.99 from the Play Store link below, and looks to appropriate the iconic ‘QWOP’ key combination by using a diamond overlay with the four possible movements at its corners. From some of the comments below, it appears multi-touch might not be working too well, but frankly, you can blame anything you like for your poor performance.
