It was made very clear at the Nexus 6‘s launch that it would play nice with carriers of all shapes and sizes. However, in America, which is presumably the only place you even have a remote chance of getting a Nexus 6, there is still one Big Red hole in this picture. The Verizon Nexus 6 has yet to make its appearance, for whatever reason, but if one Redditor is to be believed, the date for its grand reveal could be December 13th.
The Redditor in question has apparently spoken with Verizon employees who have pointed at a December 13th released date, which for the record is a Saturday. As it turns out, this is the story’s weakness as Verizon‘s new releases generally only happen on Thursdays – of course, it’s entirely possible that Verizon might release its Nexus 6 on a Saturday, but definitely seems unlikely given precedents. And of course, if buying it from Verizon directly isn’t your cup of tea, the unlocked Nexus 6 on the Google Play Store will still be compatible with Verizon’s bands too.
