Report says that the LG G Pro 3 will be announced by the end of the year

LG has been known to release a larger device in the latter half of the year, and the latest report details the alleged hardware of this so-called LG G Pro 3. We’ve also heard rumours about a LG G4 Pro, and we’re pretty sure that these two rumoured devices are one and the same due to their very similar specifications: the latest report details the G Pro 3 as a device with a 6-inch Quad HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB storage and a microSD slot, 20.7MP rear camera and 8MP front camera. That’s remarkably similar to the previous rumour which said the device had instead a 5.8-inch display and a 27MP rear camera.

The report goes on to say that the G Pro 3 would likely have a fingerprint scanner – because it’s all the rage right now – and will ship with Android 5.1. The price has also detailed as around $790 USD, though we’re most cautious about the pricing because it always varies greatly region to region. All the same, if the device detailed here comes to life, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 might have a serious contender in the phablet space, a space that has seen few challengers for the perennial phablet star.
