iWalk Link1700m Rechargeable Docking Backup Battery Review
iWalk are a small manufacturer with a medium selection of products ranging from battery backup, speakers and cases to name a few. Many of their products started out as Apple products and they are slowly moving into areas of cross compatibility.
iWalk sent through an iWalk Link1700m rechargeable docking battery backup for us to take a look at. The iWalk Link1700m is a small device that you charge from your computer and then carry around with you for those times when your device starts to get low on power.
The iWalk Link1700m is pretty small measuring only 62.5 x 35.5 x 22mm and weighing only 57g. It has a small cover that goes over the top face protecting the Micro USB connector and making it easy to throw around without any worries of damaging the connector.
The iWalk Link1700m has LED indicators around the top bezel that rotate round the device indicating when the device is charging.
When your power gets low on your phone, simply plug the iWalk Link1700m into the USB charging connector on your phone to start charging. Simple as that. The nice part of this device is that you hardly notice its attached to your phone.  Although I was testing the iWalk Link1700m on my Samsung Galaxy Note, which thankfully has the USB charging connector on the bottom of the device. If your USB charging port is on another sides of your phone, it will be a little more cumbersome to continues using your device with it attached.
The iWalk Link1700m is available in seven different colors as shown below, so you can match your device and look stylish in the process.
The retail price for this device is $44.99. Â iWalk have varying capacity versions of Link devices so you can choose the one that is appropriate for you.
