In the world of mobile devices. Having as many devices act wirelessly is a must. We want portable. We want quality. We DON’T want to deal with the tanlging up of wires. Bluetooth is a key factor here. Everything nowadays has to have Bluetooth capabilities built inside. Problem is, it can be hard to be original these days.
THE PRODUCT
In comes the Blue Wi Nighthawk Microphone System. A somewhat different take on hands-free bluetooth technology. This device has more fucntions than just being a hands-free bluetooth device. I know the main selling point is the multi-functions it has.  I commend them for wanting to do that, but some of the functions fall short of what people would need.

FUNCTIONS
Like I wrote in the description of the product. The Nighthawk has multiple functions. The main function,  of course, is mainly for hands-free calling. There are two ways to do this. First, you can either clip the device on your shirt, or hold it in your hands, while talking on the phone. There is a microphone built inside the device, and I had no problems with the other person on the phone hearing my voice clearly. Using the earpiece, I had no problems hearing them as well. Second, you can utilize the amplifier that plugs into the headphone jack to act as a speaker phone as you are driving, or even when you are at home. Clipping the device onto your sun guard, and utilizing the amplifier, you can clearly talk and hear a phone call as you drive.
Another function of the Nighthawk, is to use it as a walkie-talkie. There is a push-to-talk button on the side, so if it is clipped on your shirt, you can hold down the button to talk to a person on the other end. I was not able to test this function, simply because I did not have a walkie-talkie.
Finally the last function the Nighthawk has, is audio recording that works with an app on your mobile device. If you head to the Blue Wi webpage, you will be able to download their app onto your phone or tablet. Both iOS and Android are covered, but this is where the Nighthawk fails for me. Syncing your device with the Nighthawk, the app will record the video and the Nighthawk will record the audio. You have the chose to either record video and audio, or just record the audio. The audio sounds terrible. I had high hopes that the microphones audio was going to sound crisp and clear, like a normal clip-on microphone sounds. When I played back the audio on my computer it sounded like I was talking on the phone. Anyone who records video does NOT want their audio to sound like this. You want your voice to be loud and clear, and it just sounded like I phoned into a radio station. So in my eyes, the Nighthawk fails with this function.

A lightweight, bluetooth hands-free calling device that is pretty easy to use.
CONS
Terrible audio when recording audio for video.
CONCLUSION
Would I suggest the Nighthawk to anyone? Probably not. Even though it has multiple bluetooth functions, I do not see many people being interested in buying it. With Bluetooth earpieces, and other hands-free technology out there, it does not stand out as much as I hoped it would have. The terrible audio playback for video recording was also a huge disappointment, and that was going to be the big selling point on my behalf. If they were to improve the audio playback when recording, I would then change my mind about it.
