Riptide GP2 made its way to the Google Play store today. The original has been one of the highest rated racing games on Android and, so far, GP2 seems to be proving itself as a worthy sequel.
Riptide GP2 maintains many of the same elements as the original. For the sequel, Vector Unit adds online multi-player races, upgradeable hydro jets and riders, Â a career mode, new tricks and improved graphics.
Career modes are broken down into Race, Hot Lap, Elimination and Freestyle events. Players earn XP that can be used to upgrade the hydro jet, unlock new stunts and increase their rider’s performance.
Configurations can be set for tilt, touch-screen and gamepad play for career mode or racing against others online. Other additions include 9 new hydro jets, 25 new stunts and automatic syncing with your Google account.
