Mobile gaming has its ups and its down. Thanks to developers like
Rockstar games though, we get some great classics in a portable fashion. They recently announced via their blog that
Max Payne Mobile will hitting devices this month. iOS will get their taste a little before us, with a scheduled launch of April 12th. Android will be right behind them, as usual, with a launch date of April 26th. Giving us one of my favorite games on my favorite mobile device.
They don’t mention a price tag, but we would assume it should be around the same price tag as Grand Theft Auto III. Which is $4.99 currently. It is possible it could launch at a higher price and slowly come down though. With great games hovering around the $5 to $6 price range, they would be wise to keep the trend for maximum sales.
The screenshots they provide sure do look pretty awesome. The on-screen controls don’t seem to be overly intrusive. With more and more devices gaining larger screens though, it makes life a lot easier for a mobile gamer. Anyone else out there ready to snag this the second it lands?
