It would seem our friends over in Canada are having major issues with not only their HTC G1’s, but now the Magic. If you can’t recall the issues that the Rogers G1 had, the issues were with dialing 911 with location-based services enabled through the GPS. Once Rogers’ found out about these issues all G1’s were yanked from the shelves, and now it would seem the Magic phones were also pulled from shelves. Phones most likely won’t be sold again until HTC rolls out a patch to fix the GPS for emergency calls, which hopefully rolls out soon.
